Investigation :
We have found 7 Golden Rules that you should investigate before purchasing Hoodia
1. Stay away from so called "20:1 Extracts" as they may contain no Hoodia Gordonii.
2. Go with a product containing 100% Hoodia Gordonii Powder and no other herbs.
3. Insist on Source Material from South Africa. Do not accept from CHINA or other countries. Always ASK if not sure.
4. Look for a Certificate of Analysis on the site. This document will validate for you the country of origin. No Certificate of Analysis - do not buy. For all you know you are buying Chinese Cabbage. No Certificate of analysis - no dice.
5. Stay away from a product if the company tells you that you can suppress your appetite with one capsule only. Do not go with a product LESS than 488mg in size. You will get too little of the source material responsible for the appetite suppressing quality of Hoodia with anything smaller. The larger the capsule the better as MORE is BETTER when it comes to Hoodia.
6. Beware of companies that claim to have capsules that are 800mg in size. 800 mg capsules do no not exist. What is happening is a play on words. They are actually listing the mg size as 800mg and the serving size is 2 x 400mg capsules. RIPOFF!!!
7. Beware of companies who claim to have a capsule that is 1500mg in size. A 1500mg size capsule does not exist. The largest capsule that you can comfortably swallow is a 750mg capsule and it is known as a -00- cap.

Introduction to Hoodia
Hoodia Gordonii or Xhoba is a leafless, spiky succulent which grows naturally in South Africa. There are 46 species of Hoodia and only 2 that contain the appetite suppressant qualities that people seek after. Hoodia is registered as a protected species by the South African Nature Conservation and certain farmers are granted a special permit that allows them to commercially grow and harvest the plant for sale to the consumer market. This plant is now being grown in sustainable quantities and has become widely known for its effects as an appetite suppressant.
This cactus has an incredible virtue: A molecule "miracle" which is highly active and acts directly on the part of the brain controlling satiety, like glucose does it. This molecule which acts directly with an aim of creating or of inhibiting the feeling of "hunger". Very many tests of laboratory show the capacity of Hoodia Gordonii to reduce caloric intake from 30 to 40% and deprived of side effects.
This molecule resulting from Hoodia misleads the brain and the body while letting to him believe that it has just eaten. It works by mimicking the effect that glucose has on nerve cells in the brain in effect fooling the body into thinking it is full, even when it is not, thus curbing the appetite.
Important Notice:
Did you know that most of the Hoodia supply on the market is being mixed with Optunia? Which means that you are getting a product with watered down Hoodia lacking in the "active" ingredients. To get the best Hoodia on the market insist on a brand that displays the Certificate of Analysis on the site. This is very, very important. Repeat to yourself and save yourself anguish: I will buy only from dealers whose certificate of analysis is displayed on the site.

ALERT:
Hoodia Spa 1500 claims to have a 1500mg capsule. This is impossible. A 750mg capsule a.k.a a -00- capsule it the largest capsule that can comfortably be swallowed. A -000- capsule exists but it is 1000mg. 1500mg capsules do not exist.
